We are a busy foodbank with a friendly team of volunteers. We have centres in Fleet, Darby Green and Hook.
We currently are looking for volunteers to join our Fleet Warehouse Monday team. The sessions run on Mondays 13:30-15:00 and Thursdays 14:00-15:30.
We need help to weigh, sort and store donated food before it’s made into parcels for clients to collect. If you could help and are happy with lifting and carrying, then we'd love to hear from you - the role is vital to ensure we have parcels all ready for our clients to either collect or have delivered. You would be very welcome to visit the warehouse first and see if it's the right role for you.
Skills
Need to be able to
lift and carry crates of tins (maximum weight 16kg)
Good communication skills.
Happy to operate as part of a small team.
