Food Bank Delivery Drivers - Hook

Our Hook Foodbank Centre is currently in need of Volunteer Duty Drivers. 

The responsibility includes collecting food parcels from the Foodbank Centres on Mondays and Thursdays and providing a doorstep delivery to clients.  We do not open on Bank Holidays.  You will need to be physically able to carry packed shopping bags.  A small amount of paperwork will be involved, and you must hold a valid, clean driving licence.


Skills

  • Good communication skills, you will be comfortable dealing with clients experiencing crisis. 
  • Confident in working autonomously, with minimum supervision.
  • Full training on safeguarding and health & safety will be given. 
  • Please note that drivers will use their own vehicles and are advised to inform their insurer that they are conducting voluntary work for Foodbank.
