Your Role would be to welcome guests to the shelter and spend time socialising with them to ensure their needs are met. You will also sit and eat an evening meal with our guests. The evening shift runs from 6:30pm until up to 10.30pm. Full training on what to expect and boundaries to be observed will be given. The seven locations that we will are all within two miles of Basingstoke Town Centre. Volunteers will be asked to commit to at least one night per month but may do more if they wish.
Skills
We will provide a 90 minute training and information session. First aid and mental health first aid training are also useful.
