Your role would be to prepare meals for guests and volunteers at the Night Shelter. This can be done at home or at the venue as appropriate. There will be a suggested menu for each day which we would like cooks to follow as far as they can. Expenses can be claimed from the night shelter. As well as cooks who are happy to work in our venues we also use cooks who just deliver a prepared dish. Volunteers will be expected to commit to helping once a month but can do more if they wish.
Skills
There is an online Food Safety course that we would like all those preparing food to do. There is no charge unless you decide to download the certificate at the end of the course.
