Youth Worker Volunteer

Do you have an affinity with young people? Would you like to be involved in providing fun and constructive activities for young people?

The Point Youth Centre is a purpose built, brand new youth centre located in Tadley. The centre is open every Monday to Friday with a range of different projects for young people to get involved in. The age group of young people attending the centre is from 11-18 years. Within the building we have a youth café, main hall with games consoles, pool table and air hockey and a music studio upstairs. We are looking for volunteers to support the lead youth worker in the delivery of the various activities and sessions in the building.

Duties may include:

  • Setting up and taking down of equipment.
  • Develop positive relationships with young people.
  • Helping to serve food from the youth cafe.
  • Implementing policies of Tadley and District Community Association.

Skills

No formal skills or qualifications required for the role, however the position requires the ability to engage with young people.

Volunteers must be aged 18+
