We are looking for people to join our volunteer Rural Mounted Patrol in various locations across Hampshire, including Hart.
The successful candidate will engage with rural communities via targeted patrols and to facilitate information sharing.
Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
1. To assist in providing a high visible mounted presence to provide reassurance to the rural residents.
2. To assist in identifying vulnerable locations in the rural neighbourhoods and feeding information back to the Countrywatch and NPT.
3. To have regular contact with Countrywatch Team and NPT in area of patrol.
4. To attend yearly assessments for rider and horse to ensure share H&S.
5. To give regular and effective service.
Skills
Must be a proficient horse rider/owner as you will need to use your own horse or the permission from the owner of another horse to undertake mounted rural patrols.
