Beavers Volunteer - 2nd Cove Scout Group

2nd Cove Sea Scout Group are looking for volunteers to come and help with their 6-8 year old Beaver sessions on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm (term time only). Based in their headquarters in Cove (Farnborough), the Beavers get to do lots of different activities throughout the year. These include hikes, camping, archery, games, cooking, first aid, and map reading - all whilst having fun and learning skills for life. Being a Sea Scout Group, 2nd Cove also have access to water based activities such as boating and kayaking. You do not need previous scouting experience, just a willingness to get stuck in and join in the fun. A DBS and training will be provided. On-going training will be available and the opportunity to earn qualifications in some skilled activities if of interest. We can offer flexible volunteering opportunities so if you cannot come every week please do not let this put you off. If you would like to know more then register your interest today.
