Beaver Lead Volunteer – Pamber Heath Scout Group

Are you a fantastic organiser who loves planning and developing young people’s skills.

Then this might be the volunteering role for you.

Pamber Heath Scout group is looking for a Beaver leader to join the team to create and deliver exciting activities for their 6-8 year olds.

Our Beavers get up to lots of different activities, archery, hiking, camping, arts & crafts, helping the community and lots more. They meet weekly on Thursdays (term time only) from 6pm – 7pm.

You don’t need to have previous experience just the ability to get stuck in, there is lots of support and training available.

As part of a volunteering team you will:

  • Make a difference and give something back to your community

Skills

  • Organised – able to coordinate other volunteers and create a programme of activities
  • Good communicator with young people and adults
  • Planning skills
  • You don’t need to have been in Scouts before, either – it’s fine if you’re completely new.
