About
Scouting has been active in the local area since 1909 and at the last count we had over 900 youth members between 6 and 25 years of age and over 200 leaders providing exciting programmes for our young people. We always welcome new members and we will be able increase the number of young people we serve if more adults will give up just a few hours each week to help us deliver the wonderful programmes we have and the exciting and adventurous activities we provide. Our purpose is to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
