About
Men’s Shed (or Sheds) are like garden sheds – a place to pursue practical interests at leisure, to practice skills and enjoy making and mending. The difference is that garden sheds and their activities are often solitary in nature while these sheds are the opposite. They’re about social connections and friendship building, sharing skills and knowledge, and of course a lot of tea drinking, cake eating and laughter.
We have worked alongside Hook Parish Council and are delighted that we now have our own bespoke 'Hook Shed' located next to the new Sports' Pavilion on Papermill Ave, Hook. The next stage is the one the trustees have been most excited about- complete the kit out of the shed and get it full of members. We'd be delighted to have anyone interested come and join our team....
