Here at Rushmoor Youth Swimming we believe that swimming is a life skill which all children should
have the chance to learn. We are passionate about ensuring that children can learn to be safe in and
around the water and so that they can get themselves out of difficulty in the future.
We are a private swimming club, teaching children from the age of 6. We give preference to children
who are involved in Scouts, Guides, St John Ambulance or any other recognised youth organisation.
We teach to the InterRegistered Water Safety Scheme (ILSP) to a competent swimmer level "Shark 3"
then use the STA Water Safety awards, Bronze Silver & Gold to enhance personal survival in water.
