Youth Club Volunteer

Are you outgoing and enthusiastic? Would you like to help young people in Rushmoor? Then this opportunity could be for you!

We need fun, dynamic and enthusiastic people to commit to volunteering on one or more Fridays a month to work with our group of young people aged 11-19. Our volunteer youth workers play an integral role in helping to facilitate our youth work sessions, including supporting activities such as cooking, arts and crafts workshop and providing general support and guidance for the young people. Our volunteers always work alongside experienced youth workers and have lots of opportunities to learn and gain valuable experience.

The session runs from 4.30pm - 8pm at the Prospect Community Centre.

Skills

You do not have to have formal qualifications to apply to become a volunteer youth worker, but some experience of interacting with young people is essential. The opportunity is subject to two satisfactory references and a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check.
