We are looking to make additions to our current team of volunteers - volunteering on Wednesday nights at their Blackwater Youth Club sessions for 11-18 year olds. The club is usually held term-time only at St Barnabas Church, Darby Green.
Commitment is just once or twice a month depending on your preference and the role involves engaging with our young people, setting and clearing up, manning the tuck shop and working with a great team of youth workers. The role is on a rota basis so there is no weekly commitment.
The session is on a drop in basis for attendees to come and go as they please. Activities on offer for our young people include pool, table tennis and other games, as well as a chill out area and refreshments.
Skills
Ability to interact with the young people and work well as a team. Sense of humour and willingness to have fun is key!
Volunteers need to be 18+ but we are happy to take 16/17 year olds as 'Young Leaders' to help out with setting up etc.

Availability Details
The club runs 7-9pm on Wednesdays so volunteers would need to be available 6:45-9:15pm to allow for setting up and clearing away.
