Volunteer Peer Supporter

To provide one to one support and/or facilitate groups for our customers; using personal experience of mental health issues in an intentional and professional way; ‘inspiring hope that recovery is possible’.

Basingstoke and possibly other locations in North Hampshire.

Skills

To be reliable and have a genuine interest in making a difference in the lives of Home Group customers.

Good communication skills.

Patience and a warm friendly attitude.

A knowledge of Peer Support in mental health (desirable).

Experience of managing your own mental health and recovery.

Experience of using mental health services.
