Volunteer Parkrun Marshalls

How would you like to help facilitate a weekly held local fitness actvity? Parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs world wide.

Our local event is held at Edenbrook Country Park in Fleet every Saturday morning.

We currently have various volunteer positions available including:

  • Marshalling (directing and cheering on runners)
  • Timekeeping the runners as they cross the line
  • Managing the finish funnel and making sure the runners know where they should go at the finish
  • Scanning the runners finish tokens
  • Marshalling the car park
  • Helping with equipment set up and take down

We are a friendly bunch of local volunteers and welcome all to come and join on a regular or ad-hoc basis.  Parkrun is a fabulous weekly free event that helps communities get together, and helps individuals with mental and physical health.

Please note: If you are hoping to volunteer as part of your Duke of Edinburgh award, please contact us for availability.  We can only accommodate a certain amount of under 18s at a time so there may be a waiting list in operation.
