A part time role of 2.5 hours a week. On a Thursday morning at St Joseph’s church in South Ham. You will be supporting the group by helping provide activities for the children, including crafts and rhyme time along with the other volunteers. Help offer teas and coffees and welcome new comers.
This group support families who are struggling in the local area, so it is a great opportunity to help in the local community. Helping parents make long term connections. We have a rota system so can be flexible if there are weeks you aren’t able to attend.
As this role is working with predominately women and children we will have an informal telephone chat just to get an idea about you, followed my an informal interview in person at a time to suit you.
Skills
Full DBS check will be required (provided by organisation).
Fluent English.
A warm and friendly attitude.
Safeguarding training will be provided- online.
