Volunteer with Dogs for Autism and help spread the word about our Sponsor a Puppy Scheme.

Dogs for Autism is on a mission to change lives, one puppy at a time. As part of our ongoing efforts to transform lives through our Sponsor a Puppy Scheme, we are looking for dynamic volunteers ready to step into the community and spread the word. Your mission would involve being on the front line – at street corners, outside supermarkets and near bustling street markets. Here, you’ll engage directly with the public, sharing the incredible journey of sponsoring a puppy destined to become an autism assistance dog.

Sponsoring a puppy is more than a donation; it’s a journey. Donors contribute to the cost of feeding, training and caring for these special puppies, following their progress from playful pups to trained assistance dogs. These dogs go on to make a profound difference to the lives of individuals with autism, offering them a new level of independence and emotional support.

We need your help!

Could you – engage with the community through events, social media and other platforms to spread the word about our scheme.

Educate – inform potential sponsors about the benefits of sponsoring a puppy and the impact their contribution can make .

Skills

We are looking for volunteers who are:

•                Friendly, outgoing and comfortable initiating conversations.
•                Passionate about our cause and can share that passion with others
•                Willing to spend a few hours in high pedestrian traffic areas, equipped with informational brochures and a smile.
