Rescue Administrator

Do you have a passion for animal welfare and experience in administration? If so, Keki’s Guinea Pig Rescue, would love to hear from you!

About the Role:

This is a home-working role and the duties are varied, but may include:

• Responding to requests for rehoming and adoption.
• Booking appointments and maintaining the rescue calendar.
• Helping with boarding and grooming enquiries.
• Updating and maintaining rescue data and records.
• Assisting with organising fundraisers and events.
• Liaising with volunteers, fosterers and other rescue staff.

In terms of hours, we are very flexible in fitting in with your current commitments, but we do need someone who can commit to a regular working pattern each week to ensure enquiries are handled quickly, and that we can maintain the smooth running of our rescue centre operations.

Training: You will receive initial training and onboarding so you can learn about our work, and our internal processes. This can take place via a video conference call or, if you prefer, at the rescue centre. 

Skills

This role is home-based and so you will need access to a computer and Wi-Fi. Applicants will need to be proficient in Email and familiar with Social Media platforms such as Facebook and Facebook Messenger. Experience with Google Docs would be a plus - but not essential.
