The annual fete, one of the most successful in the area and being held in Sherfield on Loddon on Saturday 14 June 2025, could do with some extra support on the day.
We are missing some key people this year so our core team who set everything up in the morning and then pack it all away afterwards would appreciate your help please
Morning tasks involve, from 6am to 10am
- Helping set up the area e.g. marking out, roping off areas, putting up bunting
- Setting up gazebos etc
- Moving tables and chairs
- Helping fete stall holders set up their stalls
Late afternoon tasks, from 4.30pm to 6pm
- Taking down gazebos and packing away equipment
- Moving tables and chairs
- Helping pack away fete stalls
- General tidying up of site including removal of litter (equipment provided)
Skills
Volunteers
- Must be aware of their own limits and ability to be able to help move equipment e.g. tables, chairs, boxes etc. safely, including safe lifting procedures.
- Must have own transport to site (free parking available)
You will be allocated to, and have the support of a committee member, throughout.
