Media and Marketing Volunteer

Limbcare is based in Farnborough and our volunteers are crucial to our ongoing campaign to create awareness and understanding of the life-changing reality of living as an amputee or limb-impaired.

We are looking for volunteers to promote our charity to a wider audience. The main aims are to:-

  • Create a better profile for Limbcare
  • Increase our audience
  • Create and update a blog
  • Promote our events and latest news
  • Create information such as videos to show and explain what Limbcare does
  • Liaising with Limbcare staff to get feedback
  • Bring new ideas to the charity

We also welcome those who would like to create content for us, such as videos or images to accompany our posts, on an ad hoc on one off basis. This would be self- led with some guidance on topics or themes. This could form part of your portfolio for your college course.

Please note we are not in the position to offer work experience placements to students.

Skills

A marketing or PR background would be helpful along with media skills but the most important thing is enthusiasm and empathy for Limbcare's clients.
