Are you someone with parenting experience who could offer emotional/practical help & support once/twice a week to a local family with at least one child under 5? Some families may need someone to talk to; others may need more practical support with meal planning, setting routines, getting out of the house, support in coming along to one of our groups or just finding out about local services in their area.
Our volunteer roles are very flexible and made to fit around you. The home visiting volunteers make their visits around their own commitments and the needs of the family they are supporting. We also have a variety of groups that run in the week that our volunteers support. You may also like fundraising which is super flexible flexible and has loads of scope for people to do as much or as little as they want and ad-hoc admin support in the office.
You can make a difference to someone's life!
