We provide support for families with children facing life-limiting conditions. 

Each family’s needs are unique, so we offer flexible support that adapts to their circumstances where practicable, always respecting their choices, individuality, and the challenges they face adjusting to a new and often unwelcome ‘normal’.

Do you have your own car and some free time to support families in need of a little help?

We are looking for caring people who can help transport seriously ill children and their families to hospital appointments and then take them back home. Occasionally you could be asked to take the family to the hospice for a break where they can recharge their batteries together, knowing that their child's care will be provided, but still have a little holiday together.

We currently support over 200 families in Hampshire and a large proportion of those live in or around Basingstoke. Our outreach workers are really stretched and our families would really appreciate the additional support.

Full clean drivers licence.

A warm and caring manner.

Drivers should ensure their insurance covers them for volunteering activities - insurance companies usually only need to be informed of the volunteering and do not increase the premium, but this should be checked by the volunteer
