Cafe Volunteer

Are you passionate about community engagement and social impact? Our Community Cafe in Yateley, Hampshire, is on a mission to provide meaningful employment opportunities for disabled adults. We are seeking enthusiastic Volunteer Waiting Staff to contribute to our vision of creating an inclusive and welcoming space.

The role involves:

• Providing exceptional customer service in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Collaborating with our Hub team to ensure smooth operations and a positive dining experience.
• Supporting and training disabled adults in the cafe, promoting an inclusive work environment.
• Fostering a sense of community and engaging with customers to create a friendly atmosphere.
• Supporting with café community events, such as Cops & Coffee, Chatty Café, Citizens Advice, Makers Social (craft group).

Our Community Café seeks to provide a space for disabled adults to learn, build confidence, gain certifications and hopefully move on to mainstream employment. It is also a space for the local community to gather, reduce isolation, learn new things and support their local charity. Your help will enable us to grow our café into this vision.
