During challenging times it’s often the contributions and presence of people who care, that brings a little light to our lives, and the lives of those who need it the most. We are grateful to good neighbours, volunteers, charities and voluntary groups for their dedication and support. We also believe in celebrating community life through the events and activities voluntary groups organise. This is so needed to bring a sense of inspiration, hope and unity, for when life gets tough. We are proud to be part of the Rushmoor community who have stepped up to the plate during the pandemic and now the cost-of-living crisis.
Now is the time to celebrate those who have made the greatest impact. This year’s Rushmoor Volunteer Recognition Awards welcome nominations from groups and individuals. You are warmly invited to nominate a good neighbour, volunteer or voluntary group that you would like to be recognised for their service to the people of Rushmoor.
Whether you are a sports group, Rushmoor resident, cultural, faith or uniformed organisation, social enterprise, charity or community group we invite you to make a nomination. All those nominated will receive a certificate of recognition for their valuable contribution. There will be a celebration event in November, for which nominees will have an opportunity to apply for tickets that will be issued on a first come first served basis.
